Ministry On the Move: H.I.S. BridgeBuilders
North Dallas, TX - June 5, 2009

On June 5th, 2009, Laura Fechner with H.I.S. BridgeBuilders hosted a luncheon in North Dallas in which Sheila Bailey was the guest speaker. The lunch provided an environment to establish relationships within our rich diversity of culture, experience, age and status in life. We enjoyed great food and wonderful fellowship as we spent time getting to know new sisters in Christ. Twenty women were in attendance including Stephanie Carter, wife of Sr. Pastor Bryan Carter of Concord Church and Joanie Buster, wife of Executive Pastor Mike Buster of Prestonwood Baptist Church. Other attendees included staff and friends of H.I.S. BridgeBuilders. We enjoyed an inspiring word from Sister Bailey about giving everything we have for the Lord to use even when we don’t think it is much. Our example was the woman who was instructed by the prophet, Elijah, to gather pitchers from neighbors. The Lord then multiplied oil and filled all the pitchers that this faithful woman gathered. When we bring our empty vessels to the Lord, He will fill them to overflowing for His Kingdom purposes.

Laura Fechner partners with her husband Rev. Michael Fechner. He is the founder and president of H.I.S. BridgeBuilders in Dallas, TX. Visit http://www.hisbridgebuilders.org for more information.

Sis. Bobbie Hargrove, a senior member of Mount Olive says, "I was truly blessed by

Sis. Candra Stewart, one of our faithful young adults who was in attendace says, "Sis. Bailey inspired me to continue to strive to live as a Christian woman in my daily walk and reminded me that i could be a woman of great faith if I persevere."

Sis. Felecia Wheeler, says, "I was blessed by the Ministry of Sis. Bailey.  She inspired me to continue to seek God first and not worry about what others are doing.  She also inspired me to change and not hide behind fear and insecurities.  I recognize that I am an eagel and not a chicken."

Nu Corinthian Baptist Church - Women's Weekend - April 4-5, 2009

Dr. Sheila Bailey is one of God's anointed servants for such a time as this. During her time of ministering to us, on Saturday April 4, 2009 she blessed our hearts as she spoke to our women on how it was time for them to Wake Up, Clean Up and Dress Up. Then on the Sunday morning session when she spoke to us about a woman whose husband had died and left her with nothing but a jar of oil. The message was: How to Live Abundantly on Life's Leftovers, with emphasis on using all that life has dealt you. Dr. Bailey was transparent even in her own life of bereavement. She opened up about the pain and grief of losing her husband, Dr. E. K. Bailey, a man of God who she had been married to for over twenty-something years.

God is using her across the country to bring transformation and reconciliation to the body of Christ and especially an anointed word for women. As she did on her last visit, she left our women in awe of the servant of God that was able to rise above life-changing adversity, and continue on as God's messenger. Many lives were changed, wounds were healed and the encouragement to our women was a blessing.

Lord willing, Sister Beverly and I look forward to her fellowshipping and spreading the gospel with our women next year.

Terry A. Webster, Sr., Pastor
Nu Corinthian Baptist Church
Indianapolis, IN

Pursuing More Jesus Conference - with Anne Graham Lotz' AnGel Ministries  -  Colorado Springs, CO -  March 6-8, 2009

LONGING FOR MORE...
For centuries, those who have endeavored to scale majestic mountains are usually characterized as individuals who don't settle for the view from the valley. They are the ones who are on a pursuit for the grandest view--the ones who long for more.
On a warm March weekend, nestled at the foot of snow-capped Pike's Peak, Colorado Springs was the site of hundreds of women who were on a spiritual pursuit for the heights of faith- for more than just the bare minimum God has to offer. From nearly 40 different states and five different countries, these women came longing for more than what the average Christian seems to settle for. They longed for MORE...of Jesus. And they received....
MORE OF JESUS - Through Prayer

During the March 6-8 Conference, Sheila spoke on "The Faith to See It Through" (Sat) and "Living Abundantly with Life's Leftovers" (Sun).

Dallas Theological Seminary, April 2005

I just heard a message presented by my mother, Sheila Bailey, some time ago at
Dallas Theological Seminary. I was so encouraged by it. I thought you may be
as well.

It is a brief message on "Starting Over," something I believe she has done
beautifully with God's guidance.

Maybe you too are starting over in some stage of life...in your career, after or
during seminary, in college or post-graduate work, in marriage, with children or
grandchildren, with friends, at work, in ministry, after health set backs, after
a financial crisis or on your journey of self discovery.

The Lord wants to encourage you to have faith and to trust Him in your new
season...He is with you wherever you go.

God bless and be encouraged!
